Seasons 1.8

Nancy was right! Scientists HAD figured out how to dispell that barrier preventing seasons. It was Summer and June needed a thermostat but she couldn’t afford. What’s more she needed a house before Winter else she would freeze! At the moment she was cold and wet.

She barely had any money now that she had a stove. The stove had broken immediately, June’s guess? From the rain. It was thunderstorming. It was horrible. She stared at her phone, the weather website said that it would rain for the whole day including Thursday and Friday. Afterwards a heatwave.

June knew it wasn’t worth getting electrocuted trying to have a meal. She would have to live off something else until Saturday. She had found a lost umbrella holder filled with umbrellas and thought. The repair technician! He could fix the stove and fridge so she wouldn’t risk electrocution! She called him up immediately.

The technician would arrive soon, no telling when. She had summer cool down coming up. That was the BEST holiday. It was where she could finally see Kayaan in his merman form as he would have to swim to keep cool. June knew he would not keep his scales hydrated in the heatwave.

While June ate her salad, the technician got to work on the stove. She hoped he would get electrocuted, not she thought she had jinxed her chances of this deadly bet. She stared constantly it did not happen. The rain grew worse. It had become a thunderstorm and her stove and fridge broke constantly. She needed better so she got up and left. She was headed to the Spencer-Kim-Lewis household nearby, there she could warm up with their thermostat and hopefully spend the night.

June quickly grabbed a new umbrella and ran for the house. It was freezing and had already broken 2 umbrellas. She was broke from hiring the technician too. If only someone were kind enough to give her some money.
