June arrived at the library around 11:50. She asked a bit and found her boss – the librarian – Kayaan Basu.
Now she was dressed formally for this occasion.
June: Hi. Are you Kayaan Basu?
Kayaan: Yes, indeed. How may I help you.
June: My name is June. I’m here for my job interview.
Kayaan: Ah, yes! Here take my computer. I want you to start a children’s story.
June: What shall it be called?
Kayaan: Up to you, my darling.
So June got up from where she was seated and moved to Kayaan’s computer. She started a children’s story called “Reasons Bananas Can Be Vicious”. She called it and wrote it to entertain the reader.
As she wrote her book, Kayaan logged onto another computer to track her progress. She was doing well. She didn’t have to complete it now but it was neccesary for her to continue if she was to do well at her job. As she was a writer after all. Kayaan ended the interview shortly and was very aggresive towards her. He was very mean.
June: So did I get the job?
Kayaan: Shall I say. I say yes. But on one condition
June: That is?
Kayaan: Don’t skip work or leave early. No vacations allowed either. Even if it’s maternity leave or family leave, whatever you call it. None of that!
June: Yes sir.
June got up from the computer and borrowed some books to read. Then she went home. She felt stiff and ate some food and slept. She needed energy for tomorrow.
